Current developments – funding for small and non-state schools
Since summer 2025, we have been actively taking part in the public debate on planned changes to the funding of kindergartens and elementary schools.
As one of the founders of small non-state schools, we are working to make sure funding reflects children’s real needs, not a statistical average.
That’s why we:
- take part in working groups and provide formal comments on proposed legislation
- engage with the media, the professional community, and parents
- look for solutions that would ensure equal conditions for both state and non-state schools
- raise awareness of the risk that small schools — the ones that help children who don’t fit in elsewhere — may disappear
