It’s not just a kindergarten. It’s the first world your child will come to know. Let it be a good one.

Our goals

• We support the child’s natural process of becoming independent as they move from the family environment into an institutional education setting, in a spirit that respects the mother–child bond as described by John Bowlby.
• We develop and thoughtfully build on the talents and abilities each child naturally brings from their individual make-up and family environment.
• We help children learn to share their talents and gifts with the group, learning to see difference as an opportunity for generosity.
• We prepare each child for future schooling, so that they become a creative and valuable contributor wherever they go.
• We track each child’s individual development and record their growth.
• We pass on the values of humanity, love for one’s neighbor, selfless help, and a willing spirit.
• We help children understand that even the smallest thing they do in life can contribute to the common good.

Educational content

• we care about the ecological dimension of learning, in the spirit of Pope Francis’s encyclical Laudato Si‘
• for our youngest children, we track progress in self-care skills such as dressing, eating, and hygiene
• we develop children’s speech, conversation, and communication skills
• we build understanding of spoken and read language, and the ability to retell stories
• we support each child’s artistic expression and track their individual progress
• we practice correct pencil grip and prepare children for school
• we nurture a relationship with music and art, and develop musical ability
• we learn the basics of simple mathematics and geometry
• we develop logical thinking through play, educational toys, and exercises
• we work with information, learning to organize what we’ve seen and heard
• we get to know nature and our surroundings, especially on educational walks
• we learn about the natural rhythm of the day, week, and year — seasons, holidays, and Catholic feast days
• we learn road safety and practice it on our daily walk
• we learn about human relationships, etiquette, and consideration for others
• we work with emotions, learning to share and lend toys, and to process anger, sadness, and joy
• we develop spatial and technical skills, including with the „Tehličky pre detičky“ building-block set
• we develop physical skills through exercise and balance, and train healthy little legs
• outdoors, we also develop group play, football, basketball, and much more

We have a single learning group with a maximum of 14 children. We take an individual approach to each child, based on their needs and abilities.

We apply the principles of respectful parenting and education.

We focus on building healthy relationships among the children.

We communicate with parents daily about their child’s current needs.

We build a community of families, including by organizing outdoor events in our garden.

Every year we organize swimming and skating with Happy Kids.

English and German club, subject to interest.
